Wall Street Journal,May 8, 2008 page D1: Lenovo,the Chinese company that took over the brand from IBM is bringing out a new, consumer-focused line called IdeaPads,U119.

China's consumer economy has been surging especially in thriving, commercial centers such as Shanghai.

For US investors, participating in China's consumer boom,is getting easier. China Mobile Ltd., China Eastern Airlines Corp., China Life Insurance Co., now trade on the New York Stock Exchange.
