Fragrance market is establilshing a foothold, but the focus now is more on brands than scents.

With slowing sales in perfumes, the industry hopes for significant growth in China. Such source is obtained from Kline and Company. The growth is estimated at 22.4% in China. Chinese women are going to wear perfumes to keep up with their charms.

Wall Street Journal,May 9, 2008 on page W1: The world's best Chinese food on planet. W10: Pin Yin system of romanization i.e.,the Western alphabet transliteration of the Chinese characters are studied by English speaking folks in China without problems but the unwieldy Chinese characters are difficult for Westerners as ideogram. Francis Shieh a.k.a. Xie Shihao in Pin Yin meaning thanks from a heroic poet in name only. In 1991,I remember the headlines as "He said and She said" re Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and Professor Anita Hill in the Headlines: TIME magazine October 15, 2007 published "Verbatim" : "She was not the demure, religious, conservative person that they portrayed. That is not the person I knew. Justice wrote a memoir, lashing out again after 16 years at former employee. Anita Hill ,biting back at Thomas, reviving at the confirmation hearing: "I will not stand by silently and allow him, in his anger, to reinvent me." Well,I would like to use Pin Yin as spoof or doggerel with rhymes:

"Hei nan hei nu liang xing dou, Shui shi shui fei shui zhi tou." Your feedback is invited re my bad verse with appreciation. May 10, 2008
