CIA Chief Michael Hayden:WashPost,May 1, 2008

Page A15: He sees unrest rising with population. A security trend highlighted by Hayden is the emergence of China as a global economic and military powerhouse, pursuing its strategic and political interests.

Hayden said China's increasing prominence need not be perceived as a direct challenge to the United States. I concur such assessment by virtue of China's reforms to be opening up more for economic development of China and the rest of the world in the name of humanity. It is evident that Sino-American Economics is significant for mutual benefit and the study of Chinese and English languages plus culture by folks in both nations would be the contributing factors for better understanding for peace and development in the 21st century.
