Economy's Woes may be moderate:WashPost,5/3/08

"The economy is weak, there is no doubt about that," said Eugenio Aleman,a senior economist with Wells Fargo. "But it's not going to collapse." You bet! I concur without any doubt. However,when the cost of war is mounting,our economy will be in serious trouble as Nobel Laureate Stigler analyzed with insights months ago.

Hong Kong shows warmth to mainland in torch relay as the headlines published by WashPost on May 3,2008 on page A12: "We are a world in a city, where different people with different beliefs and different views have thrived in a spirit of diversity,tolerance and respect," said Hong Kong's chief executive, Donald Tsang,kicking off the relay for Olympics on Friday morning. If I remember correctly,Tsang attended a Jesuit Wahyang College in HK decades ago but he is Chinese with Chinese heritage for awareness of ethnicity to be the leader of SAR,PRC plus inherent philosophy of Confucianism to love motherland with the understanding of globalization of China to join international community for the wellbeing of Chinese and humanity.
