"Chinese visit the earthquake-devastated town of Beichuan in Sichuan province, on the anniversary of the magnitude-7.9 temblor that left nearly 90,000 people dead or missing and 5 million homeless in the region. In a nationally televised ceremony in the town of Yingxiu, President Hu Jintao said quake survivors are marching toward a new life and called for unity in that effort. In Beichuan, which was so damaged in the quake that the town has been relocated, state leaders laid flowers and survivors burned paper money for departed spirits."

Well, all folks are mortals but our souls are immortal. That is a good lesson for all of us in the mundane world.
