China puts Shang-Class SSNs on display and Pandas

China put two Shang-class (Type 093) nuclear-powered attack submarines named The Long March 6 and The Long March 3, on public display for the first time at its International Fleet Review in Qingdao on 23 April. The review celebrates the 60th anniversary of the PLAN,People's Liberation Army Navy which displayed 25 naval vessels and 31 aircraft during the event. The review was attended by high-level delegations from 29 countries and 21 vessels from 14 countries, including the US Navy destroyer USS Fitzgerald.
