Hi to readers online, When I studied in an American high school in Shanghai, I learned the word "Greenhorn" as an inexperienced person in early 1940s.. When I arrived in San Francisco in 1947,I found out the Motto for the University of San Francisco was "Foghorn" i.e. misty Frisco to toot the horn. This is the Year of the Ox in the Lunar Chinese calendar and we are being reminded to be meticulous as a good trait to be a researcher: "Getting into the horn of an ox" In Pin Yin:"Chuan dao niu jiao jian" However,it may mean avoiding trifling stuff. However again,it would be desirable for in-depth research.(sic)
Hehehahahoho all the way and we shall strive to live to be centenarians.
