China is among the biggest buyers of US government debt with $762.9 billion as of March,according to Treasury Department data. The US is keen to ensure that China continues to back US bons, especially as its deficit surges in the wake of several stimulus programs and ambitious spending plans. Governor Huntsman will be American Ambassador to China after confirmation. It will be a matter of a short time.
