Secretary Locke has written a letter to the Chinese authorities indicating that their ban on US pork products into China is ill-advised, not based on science. He also sent a similar letter to the Russian authorities. He will be calling the Chinese authorities personally. One cannot get the flu from eating pork. It is transmitted human-to-human. There is too much misinformation in the media and word of mouth.
