Washington DC Community College:WashPost,6/7/08

A report by the Brookings Institution explored such idea as the stark economics and the higher rate of unemployment. In other words, technicians are in demand and students are not interested in a bachelor's degree. Moreover, federal funding is available for workforce training and foundation would chip in as well.

During the past decades,I have been advocating vocational training for para-professionals as evidenced by the following publications with my vision in the 20th century to be relevant in the 21st century.

1.Keys for Economic Understanding. Kendall Hunt Publisher in 1971. Apprenticeship programs and the role of community colleges for American economic development.
2."The Future of Community Colleges" published by Congressional Record,July 18, 1974.
3.Keys to Economic Understanding. Kendall Hunt Publisher in 1976.
4."Macroeconomics of Stabilization" published by the White House Conference on Balanced Economic Development. August 1978.
5.Work and Study Cycle Theory, cited by American Economic Review,December 1979.
The above mentioned books may be searched at www.ask.com for reference.
