Taiwan's New President,a Harvard-educated lawyer

Cross-strait relations are bound to be harmonious for mutual benefits. President Ma sets out his stall for buying and selling to China. President Ma pleased China by stressing the common heritage i.e. language and culture,shared by people on both sides of the strait. Ma distanced himself from former leader Chen's confrontational policy towards the mainland. It is known that ethnic Chinese are Chinese regardless of their residences in the mainland or in Taiwan. Americans need to learn the Chinese language and culture especially Confucianism for better understanding of China and Taiwan in the 21st century for peace and economics. Nobody would impugn for such beneficient outlook.

My comment: If any conflict is to be avoided,there is no need for US to sell weapons to Taiwan since there will be peace and economic development. Any other scenarios in the 21st century? Positive or negative in the nuclear age for one's mind's eye.

Inflation is back in China and in USA. Leaders are working for the best interest of the people in the days to come? Moreover,America is in a recession or slowdown as the case maybe? Central banks policy makers should take note in developed and developing nations in the world. Trade balance of USA has been on the minus side;
it has been plus for China. Such is food for thought for Sino-American economics apropos of pocket-tight consumers in USA and American businesses for profits in China. Brainpower is needed for making smart projection instead of stupid provocation in good humor,indeed!
