OECD foresees weak growth for 30 members

The weak growth is applied to USA, Japan and several European countries as the report was released in Paris.

Such economic growth will slow to 1.8% this year and 1.7% next year. China's growth is expected to be 8%. Britain is more vulnerable to the current crisis because of the importance of banking and financial markets to its economy, while Canada is being dragged down by its close links to the US economy. We are living in the age of the knowledge economy. Such view is cited by Richard T. Gill of Harvard in the textbooks published in 1973 and 1975 with a vision in the 20th century to be applicable to the 21st century.
