Students share the same concern. B of A and CCB

Some students have lost sight of the main reason to devote time to academics and extracurricular activities which is to gain a good, well-rounded education. Others may try to attend prestigious universities but may be on the verge of nervous breakdown. It appears to resemble a peacock among wrens as singing birds. But such fascination draws students into vibrant world instead of the real world.

Bank of America has a stake of 10% with China Construction Bank. Bank of America's second quarter earnings, while hurting from the impact of the credit crisis, still managed to beat Wall Street expectations. Revenue grew 3.5% to $20.32 billion. The nation's second largest bank said losses in its struggling mortgage operations were offset by gains to other parts of the company. With such results, four of the nation's five biggest banks have now reported better than expected earnings. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson sought to reassure the public Sunday that the banking system is sound, while also preparing people for more troubled times ahead.
