SEQUEL to Middle Class in USA:WashPost,3/13/08

On page A2: 75 years ago, Roosevelt was reassuring but March 12,2008 Reid was depressing apropos of the status of the American economy at present.

In USA: The Majority leader Reid announced:"We've got to get middle class Americans tax cuts; we've got to give people the ability to be educated no matter how much money their parents have." In line of such rationale, the opportunity to have education and training for folks to have marketable skills via the role of community colleges would be significant for American economic development. For reference: "The Future of Community Colleges" published by the Congressional Record, July 18, 1974.

In China: CCTV-4 reports the 11th Conference of the Chinese People Congress nowadays concerning the recommendations by delegates to allocate more funding to be available for the poor students especially in rural areas.

Such is the common goal of Sino-American economics in the days to come for economic development from the grassroots as the very bottom lines for USA and China.
