C-Span Radio on March 11, 2008 Obama's Speech

Presidential Candidate Senator Obama gave an inspiring speech in Mississipi and I was greatly impressed by his insightful eloquence with dedicated vision. He pointed out the significance of education including apprenticeship program for teacher training with a marketable skill as desideratum for USA. "Keys for Economic Understanding" is addressed to the training of skills. Cf. www.ask.com or www.Amazon.com for reference. Moreover,he mentioned the importance of community, "The Future of Community Colleges" published by the Congressional Record,July 18, 1974 with the same rationale for economic development from the grassroots. I do not claim to have vision for my publications because I am still a lifelong student in the field of economics. Furthermore, Senator Obama cited China with more cars to generate pollution. It is high time that energy policy should be developed to reduce pollution in the USA and in China as well. Is is good to learn that Shanghai has produced All-Electric Buses for public transportation to reduce pollution. American scientists and engineers would be able to collaborate with Chinese counterparts to work for the best interest of people on earth in the 21st century re globalization. In my previous blog, I included an open letter from Senator Obama's half sister to imply Senator's interest to work with China if he is nominated and elected as the President of the United States in November 2008. Any cooperation and collaboration of two great nations would be beneficial for folks on both sides of the Pacific since both USA and China are Pacific nations as neighbors. Thanks for reading my views. Francis Shieh a.k.a. Xie Shihao on Tuesday,March 11,2008 at 7.55 a.m.
