An Open Letter from Barack Obama's half sister

The Open letter is published by Washington Chinese News,March 1, 2008 page A11: To Wit:

To dear friends, I am Maya Ng, Presidential candidate Barack Obama is my half brother: We have the same mother but not the same father. I was born in Indonesia with half Indonesian blood. My husband is ethnic Chinese and we are now living in Hawaii, the birth place of Barack. He is our big brother and I know that my big brother is aware of the situations of Asians in America. He has had Asian cultural heritage but we must not be restricted by our ethnic constraints. Please support him. He is aware of the rise of China and would provide better opportunities for cooperation and collaboration as positive development. As President of the United States,he will initiate a more stable regional network for mutual benefit.

The name of Barack Obama's brother-in-law is Wu Jiaru. If the reported Chinese characters are correct,it would mean "extra Confucian" i.e. as a disciple of Confucianism with extra dimension.

The above information may be useful reference for readers to read "Sino-American Economics if Obama is nominated by the Democratic Party and if he is elected in November 2008. Thanks for your time in reading such news for your information.
