VALUES as I studied from 1940s at Georgetown University

Aristotle:"Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. Training is elaborated in "Keys for Economic Understanding"(1971) and Habituation means motivation via habitual diligence to be validated and implemented in "Work and Study Cycle Theory" (1978) I studied Greek Philosphers re Aristotle and Plato with China's Confucius and Mencius at Georgetown University Graduate School with the publication in 1950(www.loc.gov). Values are guides to excellence in thought and action as promoted by philosophers in the past. At present, values are standards which we strive to achieve. Values are practical habits that enable us as individuals to live, be successful and achieve inner joy in the mind. To be useful, values must be consciously held and be consistent but not contradictory. Some folks have conflicting values which prevent them from acting with clarity and confidence. To focus on values,we must develop our faith, hope and love as ideas and ideals that form a person's good character with proper demeanor of lasting significance in life. Francis Shieh a.k.a.
