The United SChina have been roundly criticized by environmental activists as taking insufficient action to curb greenhouse emissions that scientists say are causing global warming. Gore lost to George Bush despite winning the popular vote in 2000. Here is my reasoning:k If popular votes are honored as true democracy,then Gore should have been elected as the President of the United States. But the political realities made Bush the president.
