In China,Motorola turns to rabbit as bait and Japan

Washington Post,December 27, 2007 page D8: "Animated character helps top tech-savvy youth market in rollout of smartphone : About 162 million Internet user in China, the world's second largest after USA. Nine out of 10 college educated Chinese have Internet access. China is already the biggest phone market in the world. It is going to be the biggest Internet market in the world. It is the biggest blogging market in the world, and the biggest market in the world for instant messaging."
Bullet train may serve Beijing: China might use Japanese-style bullet train technology on a high-speed rail line scheduled to open before the Beijing Olympic Games in August 2008.
CCTV-4 December 29, 2007: China and Japan will cooperate in many fields for the long range friendship in the days to come. President Hu Jing-tao will visit Japan in Spring 2008 during the cherry blossom time. I had such vision of closer China-Japan Trade cooperation and my view was published in "Kuai-bao" in Hong Kong,April 5, 1990 when I was a Fulbright Senior Scholar. It is certainly my pleasure to watch the development after a lapse of 18 years. As a lifelong student of economics,I envisioned such positive scenario about two decades ago.
