$817 - the average amount an individual spends on shopping.
$53.5 billion - estimated spending on clothing and accessories during the months of Nov. and Dec. 2007.
300,000 trees harvested for the amount of cards sold during the holiday season.
$512 million - gross earnings of Christmas tree farmers.
$142.6 million - value of U.S. imports of Christmas tree ornaments from China between the first six months of 2007.
