Proposed "Zhong Hua Comprehensive Dictionary"

Hong Kong Phoenix TV reports on June 25, 2009 that the President MA of Taiwan would like to promote traditional Chinese characters as traditonal Chinese culture to be compared with the simplified Chinese characters for better understanding of Chinese culture.

The official of Taiwan Affairs of Chinese State Council supports the proposal to compile a "Zhong hua Comprehensive Dictionary" for cultural and ethnic coordination and collaboration across the straits.

I have reason to believe that such good idea would be endorsed by all those who are interested in the Chinese language for doing research from original source materials.

I had the opportunity to teach both traditional and simplified Chinese characters at the Foreign Service Institute of the State Department,Diplomatic Language Services and Dictyon,the gate to global languages from 2006 to date. Moreover, "A Glimpse of the Chinese Language" compares such with calligraphy as a form of art. Chinese language is a form of music as expressed in four tones in Mandarin.
