In Retrospect: I was in Beijing from 1993-1996 with fond memories of teaching Economics.

Languages in English/ Chinese work on thoughts and emotions making economic issues more dynamic to be relevant to individuals and nations as well.

"Dictionary of the American Language" was published decades ago and Chinese language is a form of art and music. United Nations need language specialists in Chinese,Russian,Spanish,English,French,and Arabic as six official languages.

I was in Hong Kong from 1989-1990 as a Fulbright Senior Scholar teaching Economics in English and in Chinese Mandarin.

Chinese calligraphy is a form of art for those who can appreciate Oriental art from the craft of writing or penmanship.
