"The Economics of Interdependence" by Richard Cooper

The above book was published by McGraw Hill,New York and has been widely quoted for such an important contribution in the academic community) Harvard Economics Professor Richard Cooper's research interest: Integrating China into world economic system. His focus is very much in evidence in the 21st century with his scholarly vision.

Professor John K.Galbraith was interested in China and visited China in early 1970s. I offered him a Chinese name in translation and transliteration: Gao er bu lei shi" in four Chinese characters(words) from the Pin Yin system of romanization* i.e. the phonetic equivalent sounds like Galbraith. The meaning in English: Tall but not similar. In other words,Professor Galbraith is not mathematically oriented economist. *"A Glimpse of the Chinese Language" is available free of charge at www.rand.org pdf as a public service.

Richard H. Moorsteen of the Economics Department at the RAND Corporation published "Remaking China Policy" published by Harvard University Press,1971.

Professor Richard T.Gill quoted the role of community colleges in his textbooks published in 1973 and 1975.("The Future of Community College" published by the Congressional Record,July 18, 1974.) Training of marketable skills from the grassroots is stressed by President Obama in a changing economy in the 21st century. China is also paying attention to vocational education to train the ordinary people to have skills to get jobs in a changing economy as well.

China plays an important part in the global context nowadays as evidenced by the above economists with their insights.
