Students pick up the debt habit early: Majoing in credit cards

With easy access to credit cards, students start to enjoy now and pay later with high interest to pay to the bank. I found out such system is popular for educated young generation in China nowadays. Here is the link of credit-based culture re Sino-AmericanEconomics.

Consumerism requires money as the factor of happiness i.e. Happiness is material consumption over desire but I would add intellectual pursuit, spiritual satisfaction and good health to the numerator and the denominator of desire may be dampened for spirituality with intellectual underpinnings.

Inflation is back in USA and in China also. Chinese currency dips below 7 to US Dollar. Consumer education with a thriftier approach to living should be promoted during the recession. Perhaps it is a blessing in disguise! In England, folks saved money by putting coins into a meter to pay for home heating instead of being surprised by an unexpectedly large bill later. Wordteaser: A scholar who studies Dante, the great Italian poet who wrote about heaven and hell. But the word DANTIST is not a dentist. There is another wordteaser: Confucian is a disciple of Confucianism but not to be CONFUSED. However,if the student is not familiar with the Chinese language,he/she may be truly confused. This is supposed to be on the light side with humor if a person is receptive to humor.
