Wall Street Journal,April 29, 2008 page B4: The continuing gap between the education taught in China's universities and the skills businesses are looking for: The Chinese educational system put heavy emphasis on rote memorization but that does not translate well to the foreign firms. European Union Chamber of Commerce urged China to expand interships and vocational education to improve the skill sets of potential workers.
