USAF Captain finishes 23rd in Olympic modern pentathlon

BEIJING: Air Force Capt. Eli Bremer predicted there would be a shakeup in the shooting and fencing portions of the Olympic men's modern pentathlon. Bremer could not complete his Beijing experience without saluting his Air Force supporters. Published by Capital Flyer,Sept.5, 2008 on page 8.
At the Movies on page 16: The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor(Brendan Fraser, Jet Li) Explorer Rick O'Connell to combat the resurrected Han Emperor in an epic that races from the catacombs of ancient China high into the frigid Himalayas.
Washington Post: Sept.8,08 page A13: "China Outsourcing appeal dimming - Fuel prices sqeeze profit margins for US manufacturers. The ripple effects have been far-reaching. The trade imbalance between the US and China - a source of tension for years - is beginning to change itself as Chinese exports fall and US exports rise. Global trade routes are being transformed, suggesting a possible return to a less integrated world economy." My comment: That remains to be seen in the days to come.
