Shanghai World Financial Centre is on track

Wall Street Journal, September 2, 2008 on page B2: Shanghai World Financial Center is to reach 90% occupancy within a year, according to its developer and the biggest shareholder, Mr.Mori of Tokyo,Japan.
Such project is worth 1.13 billion and is one of the world's tallest buildings with photo published for readers to view such impressive scene.

My comment: Sino-American Economics with Japanese pitch and insight!

Health Care Demand: Find Cures: Page A22. Such demand is shared by China as well.

"We need both care and cure. Yet, for example, we invest only $16 per person annually in government-sponsored cancer research. In 60 days between political convention and the electionj, 90,000 Americans -many in the prime of life - will die from cancer. If we focus more of our health dollars on life - saving work toward cures, we can reduce the human toll while strengthening our economy." Michael Milken,Chairman,Milken Institute, Santa Monica,California. The location reminds me of The RAND Corporation www.rand.org for "A Glimpse of the Chinese Language" in English, published in 1965. Paper# 3078. In Pin Yin,"sanlingqiba" would mean a hodgepodge apropos of the unwieldy Chinese language with humor.(sic)

Francis Shieh a.k.a. Xie Shihao,a graduate student from China in 1947,a devoted learner of economics on daily basis for alerting the big brain to be younger and active in the days to come. Hehehahahoho all the way to live to be centenarians.
The blogger is an avid learner for US economy with similar interest in the economy of People's Republic of China in the 21st century.
