Macroeconomics of Stabilization

The above is published by the White House Conference on Balanced Economic Development in August 1978. Even though it was published in 1978 but economists are still searching for stabilization in the years to come. There is no pat answers to stabilization but it is an academic pursuit at best. Monetary and fiscal policies cannot operate in a vacuum and human capital approach must be stressed as I compared notes with Arthur Burns, the former Chairman of the FED decades ago. There is the common ground of Sino-American economics for human capital formation in the 21st century. "Keys for Economic Understanding" may be a timely reference to be searched by clicking at the Used Books at Borders Books. Francis Shieh a.k.a. Xie Shihao. July 14, 2007 at 6 a.m.
