Friendship lasts forever i.e. ad infinitum

Through the vicissitude of life when we learn to care then our friendship endures like a flower that might wither in winter but blooms again in spring. When that happends, we know that we have found a friend that will hold a place in our heart forever - no matter how many miles there are between us and no matter how many years separate our ages.
