Confucius making a comback in China

Washington Post, July 24, 2007 on pages A1 and A11: Chinese dust off words of Confucius-:
I happened to be a student of Confucianism in 1940s and published Philosophy of Mencius at www.loc.gov(Library of Congress online catalog) In 1965, I published "A Glimpse of the Chinese Language" Both works were done in the English language with the intent to introduce Chinese philosophy and Chinese language to English-speaking folks. It is good to know that China is now promoting Chinese language and culture to the world in the name of globalization for scholarly exchanges to facilitate contacts to benefit humanity in the fields of economics. I remember the motto at St. John's University in Shanghai:"Xue er bu si ze wang and si er bu xue ze dai" In English,it appears to be"Study without musing is a waste of time; contemplation without study is dangerous." www.Thinkexist.com and www.giga-usa/quotes for references if interested.
