Historically China's tradition,people and scenic beauty have been largely veiled in seclusion. With the opening up in globalization, China is undergoing a transformation. The mission is to bring the China of ancient times into the future and to a waiting world in the 21st century.
However, language is the means of communication and it would be advisable for Westerners to learn the Chinese language for cultural enrichment in practical needs to travel to China.

On page 8 , the author encouraged China to join the world in the name of humanity. It was published in 1965 with a vision and such foresight is gaining momentum in the 21st century. Beijing had Olympics in 2008 and Shanghai will be the host of World Expo in 2010.
