Any assumption is subject to changes and tidbits

Robert Samuelson published his article in the Washington Post,July 13, 2009 on page A17:

"We face the consequences of much bigger government. Certainly higher taxes for future Americans. Probably a less robust economy. The Congressional Budget Office notes that elevated deficits would penalize saving, investment and income, while unprecedented tax burdens could slow the growth of the economy making the spending burden harder to bear."

We shall witness the empirical evidence in the years to come apropos of the real economy regardless of Lingonomics.

That is Samuelson's assumption with his negative scenario. I would be more optimistic when there is the trust of faith, hope and charity for the Obama administration.

Page A16: "The buildup of Guam will create thousands of jobs and opportunities for businesses. It is good to put Americans to work in an American territory building America's future in the Pacific region."

Comment: America's day starts at Guam and China is next to Guam as the neighbor across the Pacific Ocean for peace and economic development of USA and China in the 21st century.

COMICS on page C8:

Dennis the Menace: Dennis, the kid was pulling the large curtain in the living room and his Mom said: "This isn't the jungle, and you're not Tarzan!" Such scene reminds of No. 1 son was doing the same when I was teaching in Michigan in 1961. The kid was 4 years young and he did what a 4-year boy would usually act: Adventure in the jungle as Tarzan. Father knows best ! Hehehahahoho all the way and we shall live to be centenarians. Amen!
The above case is family history: 48 years ago, almost half a century ago. Mom is gone and Dad is in the mundane world trying to be a centenarian with blogging + intellectual activities to use my mind with humor. Laughter begets longevity to be upbeat with cheer in thought
