Bound for Zero:Editorial/WashPost,Dec.19,2008

"FED Chairman Bernanke: Japan's sluggish recovery reflected certain structural inefficiencies, such as a highly protected food market, which do not plague the US. But the US is burdened with costly health care."

The success of FED's strategy will depend not only on its efforts but also on the size of the fiscal stimulus package to be enacted by Congress early 2009. $850 billion is being discussed as per the headline,Dec.19,08. The taxpayers would be responsible for such payments in due course of time. Right?

Justice is cited in an article on page A25 but on B3 Workers stage rally to protest treatment by law enforcement of Justice Department. Such controversy may be ideological or otherwise? Readers be the Judges.
