Tai Shan's days in DC may be numbered:Headline

Washington Post, Dec.4, 2009 FRONT Page with a photo of Panda: Beloved adolescent giant panda, Tai Shan,is leaving his place of birth(US) and being sent to China. "Tai Shan" is the name of a famous mountain in Shandong Province or a father-in-law to be trusted as the son-in-law with family tie from the popular image in Chinese culture.

Although he has felt like ours since his birth at the zoo July 9, 2005, he has always been Chinese property. Since Tai Shan is not a human being and is not subject to US Law of birth as a native American citizen.

Mayor of DC called Tai Shan as Washington's most important "citizen "but he is of Chinese ancestry. The zoo just announced his appearance on a postage stamp.

Three other zoos in the United States have giant pandas, in San Francsico, Atlanta and Memphis.

Francis Shieh a.k.a. Xie Shihao, an admirer of Panda with envy of his popularity.(sic) Hehehahahoho all the way and we shall live to be centenarians with such humor.
