Page A13: IMF sees reason for hope, caution in world economy:
Americans have begun to pare back debt. Federal Reserve imbued with greater powers. It is a matter of lifestyle with philosophical underpinning for economic activities for savvy folks.

Page A10: China's Gala show of strength: Charles W. Freeman Jr., a veteran diplomat, China expert and former Pentagon official, said he did not see a threat to the United States and noted that Chinese military spending is still a fraction of US military spending. People want peace and economic development and leaders are aware of peace or conflict in the nuclear age.

Comment: It is high time to note that China has joined international community to try to resolve global economic problems and cooperation and collaboration of US-China would be a matter of common interest with mutual benefit in the 21st century.
