Washington Times, October 26, 2009 on p age B3:

Weak job market may persist for years, economists warn: It is a matter of educated guesstimates:

Jobs need skills and skills require training. For details, Cf. Keys for Economic Understanding www.ask.com or search used books at www.borders.books for reference.

Even before the recession, many jobs had vanished or been shipped overseas amid a general decline of US manufacturing.

Reason: Less labor cost yields more profits for CEOs.

The severest downturn since the Great Depression has accelerated the process.

Comment: A modified "New Deal" may be introduced by the Obama administration in the coming months if the recovery is not realized. Americans do need jobs to survive. Moreover, charity starts at homefront to honor the Constitution for the wellbeing of Americans.

Such problems exists in China as well and measures may be taken for the wellbeing of folks in China. There is the common ground for workers to earn a living in USA and in China as well
