New World Trade Center's Chinese Glass has dispute

Washington Post,Oct.10, 2009 on page A16 with Photo: Trade Furor is not warranted. To wit:

Economists have warned that such measures could inflame broder economic tensions between Sino-American Economics and ultimately hurt American consumers by raising prices. Such comments are the same as I sent my prior blogs. We are all consumers in USA.

Steven Coleman, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey defended the award. Coleman said:"It was a competitive bidding process which is how we award all our contracts."

Ikenson, the trade specialist, dismissed the controversy, saying, "It is in our national interest to get the biggerst bang for the buck."

Jim Penny sent a letter to the Editor of National Geographic Magazine:

"I have been working with the Chinese. They are energetic, driven, and hungry to improve their lives. They want their families to be happy, safe, and filled with hope that the future will be better. Such value is the same for Americans. There is the common ground for US-China economic relations in the 21st century.

Francis Shieh a.k.a. Xie Shihao, a watcher for Sino-American Economics in the positive scenario because any negative outlook would hurt consumers in the United States especially during the time of tough economic conditions for all Americans.
