Zhong-Mei: Middle(Kingdom) China and America,the Beautiful

Economics is "Jing-ji" in Pin Yin system of romanization. It is interesting to note that the humorous phonetic equivalents may sound like "yi ke nuo mi" i.e. a small rounded glutinuous rice in Chinese characters. Rice is staple food for folks in China and in USA as well. Such may be the justification to focus on Sino-American Economics in the lighter vein. Morever, the Japanese "Kanji" i.e. the Chinese character to address America for "mi" i.e. Rice to represent America due to the sound of "Mi "for America.

It would be up to the reader to select the Chinese character of "Beauty" or the Japanese version of "Rice" in the Chinese character to describe USA. The choice of yours for fun, indeed!

Francis Shieh a.k.a. Xie Shihao, a student of languages to entertain the readers on Sunday, September 6, 2009 to praise and exalt human culture on earth. At 6.38 a.m. early morning catching the fun. Thank you in reading for understanding.
