USAToday,9/11/09 Washington Times 9/11/09

USAToday, Sept. 11, 2009 page 5A:

"Both USA and China are crucial to deal on CLIMATE, United Nations official says.

Senator Maria Cantwell(Democrat from State of Washington) said in Shanghai that China and US should cooperate to develop clean energy and tap job-creating opportunities." I do concur.

The market for green technology in China could be as large as $1 trillion annually, according to the China Greentech Report 2009 released in Dalian.

I recall that I lectured economics at Dalian Engineering University in 1985 after I taught at Harbin Institute of Technology for two months in the summer.

Washington Times, 9/11/09: Census: Poverty hits 1 in 8 Americans i.e. circa 40 million folks in USA. Such is a matter of economics!

"China pushes solar and wind power technology plus nuclear plants. In the US, 50% of power is generated from coal, and in China, it is 75% to 80%. UN will meet in Copenhagen and US and China can find even more on which to agree."

Comment: The issues boil down to Sino-American Economics.
