Sunday, Washington Post on page A18: China makes news these days mostly as a rising power, entwined with US interests on issues ranging from America's debt to Iran's nuclear ambitions. Ambassasor to China Jon Huntsman, Jr. told reporters that President Obama told him to focus on a few big piture issues: Global Economy.
Comment: Global economy means US and China work together to try to resolve early recovery of global economic crisis. That is the issue of issues in the Macro-Economics. Stay informed, stay ahead and stay smart!
President Jimmy Carter published an article on page A19 on the Middle East. His birthday happens to be October 1st, the National Holiday of China. I heard from the Radio that the White House will celebrate China's National Holiday. What a coincidence apropos of the birthday of the former President Jimmy Carter who announced the normalization with China decades ago.
