Seven Points to be young at heart and the mind

1. The brain is an extraordinarily dynamic organ to reshape itself with delta, delta, delta galore in a flux generating thousands of new cells every day.

2. A young mind is always dynamic, vibrant and curious as a "xiaohuozi" in Pin Yin. As such,a person is bound to be enthusiastic, spontaneous and adaptable. I remember such comments from colleagues about my way of teaching since 1945 in Shanghai, the host of Expo 2010.

3. At Dictyon.net,the gateway to global languages, the executive academic director is Dr. Regas Santas. He knows the Greek word "entheos, meaning, filled with the divine." Enthusiasm reverses aging. Well, age is merely a number; to be hale and hearty would be the goal for folks with higher chronological numbers.

4. Start singing -"It's a beautiful morning,it's a beautiful day. I got a beautiful feeling and everything is going my way."

5. When a person shifts his/her reference from ego to spirit,he/she would be unwittingly aware of cosmology, epistemology and ontology.

6. In short,an exuberant mind with aesthetic imagination would be the aromas in the environment. To translate into subtle sensory impulses is the awakening of taste buds with insights from the tongue to the mind.

7. Learning is growing up with knowledge and wisdom everyday until the termination of our physical body as centenarians.
