Ronad Reagon's statement for our thought re Microcosm

Several decades ago,President Reagan made a statement at Moscow State University: "In the new economy, human invention increasingly makes physical resources obsolete...Even as we explore the most advanced reaches of science, we're returning to the age-old wisdom of our culture...In the beginning was the spirit, and it was from this spirit that the material abundance of creation issued forth. The laws of the microcosm in the 21st century may not be known to ordinary folks. Even the leaders who operate deep within the microcosm seem to neglect its most powerful truths. In economics and political theory plus philosophy, these laws are mostly unknown. But however slowly theory catches up to practice, the microcosm will increasingly dominate international reality, subduing all economic and political organizations to its logic. Folks with insights have agreed that the microcosm would shape the future of nations. They thought it would demand great collective efforts and masses of capital." My comment: Global warming is a case of point at issue nowadays. In the computer age,we would understand such usage would entail huge economies of scale, fostered by the state and the leaders with vision in the 21st century. The world is getting closer and closer and we shall expect closer cooperation and collaboration of two great nations on both sides of the Pacific namely, the United States of America and People's Republic of China in the 21st century and beyond apropos microcosm,a world in miniature.
