Economics of Health for USA and China

Dr. Gene Cohen of GWU, a pioneer in human brain, published "The Creative Age: Awakening Human Potential in the Second Half of Life.": "Increasingly when we see an older person do something that is really incredible,we realize it is because of his/her age, not despite it." My comment: Maturity with seasoned experience explains such action. A blog a day keeps MD away! Creativity is very much linked to good physical and mental health in the brains. Chinese language is a form of art and art generates creativity apropos of Chinese calligraphy with intensive creative activity. Dr. Cohen is also the author of his recent book,"The Mature Mind: The Positive Power of the Aging Brain." My comment: Age is merely a number and there are new opportunities for further development and potential. "Work and Study Cycle Theory" (www.ask.com for reference) is to be validated and implemented for the aging people with the positive attitude of the changing society in USA and in China as the evidence of increasing aging population in the 21st century.
Francis Shieh,an octogenarian but I feel like a young guy as "xiaohuozi" in Pin Yin system of romanization for my mindset. I live and learn with intellectual joy, indeed! Confucius reminded us that all friends are better than myself. "Wu you bu ru ji zhe" with modesty and humility. I can always learn from others. That is my attitude to be shared with readers if accepted. Thanks and have a great day, everyday with such philosophy of life to strive to live to be centenarians. January 11,2008.
