Washington Post, April 2, 2009 Dennis Wilder,a visiting fellow at the Brookings Institution published the following article:
"How a'G-2' would hurt." It is a misnomer,indeed. G-2 is a significant part and parcel of G-20 since US and China would strengthen relationship in the days to come for mutual benefit as agreed by President Obama and President Hu.
Such announcement would not jeopardize US relationships with nations in Asia as Dennis Wilder stated. I would be more inclined to endorse the statement of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton from economic aspects rather than political push in the article by Wilder. "It is the Economy,Stupid" to be quoted as the common expression.
It should be noted that Japan to India are in Asia and China has influence in Asia as influence of USA in Asia.Readers of Sino-American economics have the right to reason your own way about the future relations of USA and China with empirical evidence.
