U.S.,China end talks with plans for more

Washington Post,March 1, 2009 on page A13:

China and the Obama administration concluded their first military consultations for high level exchanges while agreeing to begin working level talks Monday.

"There were the best act of talks that I have ever been part of," said David Sedney, deputy assistant secretary of defense for East Asia, who co-chaired the annual Defense Policy Coordination Talks. Sedney's entourage included representatives from the US Pacific Command, the Joint Chief Staff, the State Department and the US Central Command, which briefed the Chinese on President Obama's recent decision to send 17,000 additional troops to Afghanistan. Here is the empirical evidence of cooperation and collaboration as I sent my past blogs.
With the cooperation of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who had an almost perfect visit, China is saying it desires a good beginning with the Obama administration. Here is the development of Sino_American Economics involving the military sector as recommended by RAND researcher decades ago.
