House passed the bill and will be signed into Law

President Bush is expected to sign the Emergency Economic Stabilization bill into law this week. The following lawmakers made the statements as follows:

Rep. Thaddeus McCotter(R- Mich): "Now the Wall Street crony capitalists have put a 700 pound billion dollar bag of dung on taxpayers' doorsteps, rung the bell and expect you to thank them when you answer it." Such simile stinks! Thanks to the Yea votes to save the economy of USA and the world as a whole.

Rep. Paul Broun(R-Ga.) "This is a huge cow patty with a piece of marshmallow stuck in the middle of it, and I'm not going to eat that cow patty." Such analogy is funny and in poor taste of sweetness in Congress. But the other lawmakers have voted to be positive for US economy and the economies of the world re globalization in the 21st century. In the Lunar Year of the Cow effective January 26, 2009,such patty may be used as fertilizers for economic growth in humor after Inauguration,Jan. 20, 2009.

Rep. Lloyd Doggett(D.Texas) "A trillion dollar, gold-plated, diamond encrusted bridge to Wall Street." Comment: We do need a bridge to balance the private and public sectors in USA as I sent my previous blogs.

As a lifelong student of economics,I do endorse such bill into law for the economic wellbeing of all folks in all nations in the 21st century.

But the majority of lawmakers approved the revised bill from the Senate and US economy will be back to normal course of action with impact to other nations as well as the financial drama will be unfolding in the days to come. The stock market is up today to be optimistic with repercussions to the global economy.

Moxie in Pin Yin would mean to follow the model of Xie (with implied pep) in Chinese characters. But Moxie in English may mean guts or pep for an octogenarian who is hale and hearty.
